Thanks Denis. Does this version display correctly for you? I cant get
it to process any web pages. Instead it just prints the html source.
I'm building with the --without-cairo-directfb option as shown in
CONFIG. Is that correct?

If I build with the --without-cairo-directfb option, many simple pages
display correctly but more complex ones cause the browser to crash.

If I build with the --with-cairo-directfb option, I dont get see any
output on the screen but I can see from the debug output that its
loading the sylesheets correctly so it appears to be processing things
but just not displaying them. Any ideas of what could cause the blank
(all white) output in the web view? I did verify that cairo was working
with directfb by compiling the test app at
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/cairo/2005-November/005625.html
